Have you ever been to a spy school before? Well, 12 year old Ben Ripley has in the book Spy School by Stuart Gibbs.

The book starts off with an unexpected stranger in a tuxedo sitting in Ben’s living room saying that Ripley has been recruited for the Academy of Espionage of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Spy School has its own unique challenges such as assassins in the night, secret passageways and spy moles to uncover. His goal is to prove to everyone that he is capable of being a spy.

I have learned a lot about spies, investigations, and covert operations through reading Spy School. This book is very funny, imaginative, and seems like it could actually happen. It makes the spy movies look unrealistic! The next book in the series is Spy Camp which I am very excited to read.
