Are you ready for the best book you may ever read? Then you should get The Candymakers by Wendy Mass. Three boys and one girl have been selected for the annual candy making contest. These contestants include Logan, the candymaker’s son; Miles, who is allergic to many unusual things; Daisy, a very bright and cheerful girl; and Philip, the suit wearing boy. One of them will make a candy that will blow the judges away, but they soon realize something is wrong and it is up to them to figure out what.

This 453 page book has an interesting layout because the story develops from one character’s perspective at a time. For example, it starts with the main character, Logan. You read several chapters from his perspective. The story then repeats and is told from another character’s perspective. This happens with all the four contestants. It really shows that you do not know what people are going through until you see things from their perspective.

This book offers mystery, friendship, revealed back stories, unique characters, and lots and lots of candy. The writing is excellent and intriguing. Get a copy today!

Also read the 534 page sequel: The Candymakers and the Great Chocolate Chase. If you read The Candymakers, you will run out and buy this book immediately. Trust me.
