Do you like to write? Do you like to cook? Then you should read All Four Stars by Tara Dairman. It is about an 11 year old girl who loves to cook. I have recently read this book and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Gladys Gatsby has loved to cook and eat gourmet food like crème brûlée and fondue ever since the age of seven. Her parents rely only on microwaved food that Gladys cannot stand. After a small kitchen fire, Gladys finds herself in a thicket of trouble, banned from her allowance and from her cooking privileges.

After writing a report in the 5th grade, Gladys is accidentally considered a professional food critic by The New York Standard and is sent out to review a new dessert bistro in the heart of New York City. How will she keep her dream job without her parents knowing? How will she keep her identity a secret?

Tara Dairman concocts a delightful tale of complicated relationships and pursuing your passion even though circumstances can be tough. Once I started reading this novel, I could not put the book down. Also read the two other books, Stars of Summer and Stars So Sweet, in this three part series. I read them and enjoyed them just as much as All Four Stars.
